| Self Catering Accommodation
Enjoy the privacy and independence of your own place ... Self-cater in your own one or two bedroom apartment just 5 minutes walk from the beach. Units can be linked together to accommodate the needs of larger groups, and each has a sofa-bed to sleep an extra two people when required. Most rooms have a choice of king or twin beds. The building looks out across the Silvermine Valley and onto the ocean at Clovelly/Fish Hoek beach.
THE PLACE ...
This peaceful mountainside house is surrounded by indigenous gardens flowing smoothly to the adjacent wetland nature reserve. Boardwalks (gradient 1:9) make the building wheelchair accessible. Clovelly Lodge self-catering facilities are a stone's throw from the B&B guest house with owner/managers on hand if you need them. Units are either sea-facing or have partial sea views. The decks, patios and gardens around the house give each unit a private outdoor space for braais (barbecues), eating al fresco, enjoying sundowners or just lounging around in the sunshine.
The saline pool is enclosed to make the area safer for children.
THE FACILTIES ...
Apartments have been assessed by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa as meeting 4-star standards. All linen is supplied (except beach/pool towels) and units are serviced twice a week.
Local transport, shops, banks, video/DVD rentals, take-aways etc are in Fish Hoek which is a 10-15 minute walk from the house and the Kalk Bay fishing village, which has a range of excellent restaurants to choose from, is a similar distance. |
