Enjoy the privacy and independence of your own place ... Self-cater in your own one, two or three bedroom apartment just 5 minutes walk from the beach. This peaceful mountainside house is surrounded by indigenous gardens flowing smoothly to the adjacent wetland nature reserve. Boardwalks make offloading your bags easy. Some apartments are wheelchair accessible. The building looks out across the Silvermine Valley and onto the ocean at Clovelly/Fish Hoek beach.
THE PLACE ...
Clovelly Lodge self-catering facilities are a stone's throw from the B&B guest house with owner/managers on hand if you need them. Units are either sea-facing or have partial sea views. Most rooms have a choice of king or twin beds and each apartment has a sofa-bed to sleep an extra two people when required (by arrangement - an extra charge is payable). The decks, patios and gardens around the house give each unit a private outdoor space for braais (barbecues), eating al fresco, enjoying sundowners or just lounging around in the sunshine.
The saline pool is enclosed to make the area safer for children.
THE FACILTIES ...
Apartments have been assessed by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa as meeting 4-star standards. All linen is supplied (except beach/pool towels) and units are serviced twice a week. Daily servicing can be arranged.
Local transport, shops, banks, DVD rentals, take-aways etc are in Fish Hoek which is a 10-15 minute walk from the house and the Kalk Bay fishing village, which has a range of excellent restaurants to choose from, is a similar distance. |
